About 2000 Series Aluminum

The 2000 series is an aluminum-copper family known for high strength, good fatigue performance, and reliable behavior in demanding structural applications. These alloys are widely used in aerospace frames, structural fittings, and precision components where weight savings matter.

Copper-bearing aluminum requires careful control of cutting parameters, heat, and chip evacuation. Because CNCALPARTS works with aluminum every day, we tune tooling, workholding, and inspection around these specific behaviors rather than treating them as a general-purpose metal.

High Strength

2000 series grades offer some of the highest strengths available in aluminum, supporting structural and load-bearing parts.

Fatigue Resistance

Good fatigue behavior makes these alloys suitable for cyclic-load environments such as aerospace and mobility hardware.

Aluminum-Only Focus

We machine aluminum exclusively, so tooling, cutting data, and inspection are built around aluminum behavior, not adapted from other metals.

Why Choose CNCALPARTS

Instead of processing many different materials, we specialize in aluminum and continuously improve our machining processes around one material category. This focus supports better understanding of alloys, tooling, workholding, deformation control, surface finish, anodizing, and production consistency.

We machine aluminum. Only aluminum.

Tight Tolerance Machining

General tolerance ±0.05 mm, precision work down to ±0.01 mm with controlled flatness and parallelism.

3, 4 and 5-Axis Capability

Multi-sided machining for complex housings, enclosures, brackets, and precision turned components.

Anodizing Ready

Clear, black, color, and hard anodizing prepared with attention to dimensions and surface condition.

Documented Inspection

CMM, micrometers, thread gauges, and surface roughness testing with dimensional and first article reports.
