Why Machine 5000 Series Aluminum with CNCALPARTS
5000 series alloys are non-heat-treatable and rely on magnesium for strength. They resist corrosion in saltwater and humid environments, weld cleanly, and form well, but they also work-harden quickly and can move during machining.
