Why aluminum enclosures and housings are different
A housing is rarely a simple block. It usually combines thin walls, deep pockets, sealing faces, threaded features, and cosmetic surfaces in one part. Aluminum machines quickly, but it also moves: thin walls can distort, large pockets can release internal stress, and anodized parts demand tight control of dimension and surface condition.
Because aluminum is our only material focus, these are the manufacturing challenges we work with every day — tooling, cutting parameters, workholding, deformation control, surface finish, and repeatability across prototypes and production runs.
Deformation control
Thin walls, deep pockets, and multi-sided features are machined with setups that manage heat and internal stress instead of chasing tolerances after the fact.
Sealing and mating faces
Flatness and parallelism down to 0.02 mm on covers, flanges, and mounting faces so housings assemble, seal, and align as designed.
Anodizing readiness
Clear, black, color, and hard anodizing supported with attention to dimensions and surface condition before finishing.
Thermal performance
Heat sinks, cooling plates, and thermally critical housings machined with consistent fin geometry and controlled surface finish.
Cosmetic surfaces
As machined, bead blasted, brushed, or polished finishes handled with careful fixturing to protect visible faces.
Prototype to production
From 1–10 pc prototypes to 500+ pc batch production, with stable setups, repeatable machining, and consistent inspection.
